Condition

This vibrant dye-transfer print, on double-weight paper, is in generally excellent condition. The colors remain rich and saturated. When examined in raking light, there is a subtle rippling to the surface. A sharp crescent-shaped crease in the lower right quadrant does not appear to break the emulsion. The lower margin edge is gently bumped, and there is a barely discernible one-inch crease close to the lower edge. The full annotation on the reverse reads as follows: '"Reaching Out" South Vietnam 1966 Photograph by Larry Burrows First use Life © Time Inc 1971 MP# 1062 RB UL February 26, 1971 This photograph may not be reproduced without written permission Separations and matrices from the original transparency by Stewart Color, New York 1985 Rolled by Frank Tataro 1987'
