Condition
These vibrant dye-transfer prints are in generally excellent condition. The colors remain rich and saturated. When examined in high raking light, there is very subtle rippling to the surface of the prints This does not detract in any way from their overall fine appearance.
The stamps on the reverse of 'Dropping of Troops, Mekong Delta' are: 'Larry Burrows: Vietnam, The American Intervention'; 'Published by Laurence Miller Gallery Inc.'; and '© The Larry Burrows Collection, Reproduction without written consent is expressly prohibited.'
The stamps on the reverse of 'Relief of Khe Sanh' are: 'Larry Burrows: Vietnam, The American Intervention'; 'Published by Laurence Miller Gallery Inc.'; and '© Time Inc. Reproduction without written consent is expressly prohibited.'
Each print is from a projected limited edition of 50, plus 10 lettered proofs. 'Dropping of Troops, Mekong Delta' is proof no. B, and 'Relief of Khe Sanh' is proof no. D.

Larry Burrows: Vietnam, The American Intervention 1962-1968, a portfolio of 18 dye-transfer prints, was published in 1985 to mark the 10th anniversary of the final withdrawal of American troops from Vietnam. Few photographs from the projected total edition of 60 were printed and extant complete portfolios are scarce.
