Condition
This print, on double-weight, semi-glossy paper, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, the following are visible: a few scattered, tiny matte deposits, possibly retouching; and soft impressions that correspond to Newton's signature on the reverse of the print. The left and right margins are gently rippled and there is a tiny brown fox mark in the lower margin.
On the reverse, '5882/22' and 'X' are written in pencil in an unidentified hand. A Gallery for Fine Photography, New Orleans, label is on the reverse of the frame.
