This print is in generally excellent condition. The tip of the upper left corner is lightly bumped and creased, as is a tiny part of the lower edge, about 7-1/4 inches from the lower left corner. In raking light the following are visible: scattered deposits, possibly original retouching, visible mostly in the sky area; and a small crease in the upper right quadrant which does not appear to break the emulsion. There is some minor, barely discernible soiling on the reverse of the mount. Karen Haas's and Rebecca Senf's book, 'Ansel Adams in the Lane Collection,' publishes the most comprehensive list to date of the studio stamps and labels Adams used throughout his career. Our dating of this print is based upon the authors' assessment of the use dates of stamp 11 on the reverse of the mount: 1973 through 1977.
