the shaped tilt-top revolving on a birdcage action, above a fluted stem and leaf and acanthus carved cabriole legs ending on paw feet

Condition

An elegant tripod table of a rich colour in good conserved condition. The top original to base with characteristic signs of wear typical of age and use. The bird cage action is in good working order, the top is slightly loose but structurally sound. The decoration to the legs has rubbed over the years to give an atmospheric two-tone patina. With old marks and scratches to the base consistent with age and use.
