Condition

This is a very striking textile panel. It is very densely worked and closely shorn. It is in very good condition overall. The reverse of the frame has a loose linen backing, in two sections with gap up the centre, and there is card in sections against the back of the textile panel, and held in place by the frame. On looking behind the card reverse of the worked in very small, dense knots. It is very striking within the gilt-frame, and is of a versatile size as not enormous. Decorative still-life subject.
