Description

  • lacquer, marble base
each modelled with an archaistic dragon terminal with a loop for suspension, the pole decorated with stylised bats and ruyi clouds in gilt against a brown lacquer ground, set on later bronzed metal bases

Condition

In good general condition, with minor chips to the extremities and areas of loss to the lacquer, including an area measuring 3x3.5cm below the knop on one stand. There is general wear to the gilding and lacquer surface.
