This rare console table is in reasonable original condition. There are minor losses and consequent areas of retouching to gilding, and minor marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The left hand side column has some of the gilding cracked, and this has been consolidated. Minor marks of old woodworm which is no longer active on the inside of the right return. The faux marble plinth with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The mirrored back probably replaced. Very unusual and of lovely quality. With a later white marble top.
