- pine, poplar
- each 96cm. high; 3ft. 1¾in.
each with an inset vert de mer marble top above an egg-and-dart border and floral swags on faux marble square bases
Condition
These elegant columns are in reasonable condition, with original gilding. and restoration consistent with age. There are losses, craquele and retouching to gilding, and one shows a vertical crack, the other showing a less visible vertical crack. The top section of both possibly reattached.
