- each 97cm. high., 106cm. wide; 3ft. 2¼in., 3ft. 5¾in.
depicting chinoiserie figures at various pursuits and one on a camel, and a female with a baby, the other with a female on an elephant with a parasol, all within exotic landscapes on a cream coloured ground and painted with drapery, flowers and strapwork within later rectangular giltwood frames carved with leaves
Condition
Both canvasses have firm relinings, the paint surfaces are stable with clean and clear varnishes. There is a scattering of re-touchings of old minor damages and some strengthenings throughout, visible under ultra violet light. They are offered in gilt wood frames and ready to hang. Very attractive.
