Original canvas. The canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher and undulates slightly in places, but otherwise appears sound. There are some small, scattered lines of craquelure in places, with some small associated flecks of loss, including two slightly larger spots of loss, one to the leftmost brown shape on the upper orange bridge, and one to the brown pigment at the left edge of the building second from left. There is some light surface dirt and matter in places. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some areas of fluorescence, which are thought to be in keeping with the artist's materials. The work is presented in a simple gilt and wooden frame.
