Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is some very slight rubbing to the corners in places. There are some very fine lines of reticulation apparent to the darker brown pigment in places. There is a small pressure mark just to the left of the figure's neck, with two very fine lines of associated craquelure. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is float mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame.
