There are some creases, handling marks and scattered instances of wear to the sheet, and also a small loss near the centre of the left vertical edge. There are pinholes in each of the corners, thought to be in keeping with the artist's working method. There is scattered foxing to the sheet and some surface dirt, discolouration and studio detritus, most apparent in the upper right quadrant. The work is presented in a dark wooden frame, float mounted against a cream backing card and held behind glass.
