Condition

The canvas has been relined. There is a 7cm raised vertical craquelure below the first horse to the right, and a very small area of raised craquelure towards the lower left edge, both with associated retouching as visible under ultra-violet light. The picture is in good overall condition and ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
