sur une base rectangulaire à quatre pieds coquilles, l'une représentant un triton, l'autre une néréide, chacun tenant deux coquilles et leurs doublures, les personnages signés A. ALLAR, les bases gravée FROMENT-MEURICE, dans leur coffret en bois à la forme

Literature

André-Joseph Allar (1845-1926) est un sculpteur né et mort à Toulon. Il reçut le grand prix de Rome en 1869.
