Provenance

Léon Barmont (1870-1944), né à Lyon en 1870, négociant en soie, fonda la Chambre de Commerce française au Japon en 1918. Il s'installa à Yokohama en 1899. En 1907, il s'associa avec L. Mottet pour créer la société de négoce en soie Mottet et Barmont.
