rectangulaire, les côtés légèrement bombés, à décor en émail de rinceaux feuillagés doré sur fond noir, appuie-pouce également émaillé, poinçon de maître, date, traces de poinçon de ville

rectangular with rounded corners, the lid, sides, base and raised thumbpiece enamelled with gold  foliate scrollowork on a black ground, maker's mark, date, traces of town mark

overall condition apart from a few almost imperceptible losses to top of lid,
