Condition
Overall the condition of the four lead roundels is good, with some wear and minor dirt to the surfaces consistent with age. This includes rubbing at the high points and some minor nicks and scratches. Additional points for each:
Minos and Scylla:
There are a few dents around the outer edge. There is a hole at the top and another to the outer edge above it at the top. There is a label to the reverse inscribed in ink.
Pan and Syrinx:
There are several stable fissures, including to the left side above the seated man, around Pan's head and torso, around Pan's proper right leg, and at the bottom, where there is also a small loss. One of the fissures has been stabilised with fill which is visible on the reverse. There is some warping around the edge. There are three small holes at the top. There is an inscribed label on the reverse.
Conversion of Paul:
There is some dirt or minor dryness to the surface. There is a minor stable fissure to one side of the larger tree. There are two holes at the top. There are two inscribed labels on the reverse.
Anointing of David:
There are a few dents and minor warping around the outer edge. There are five small holes to the outer border at the top, sides, and bottom. There is a stable fissure to the inner side of the decorated border on the right side at the top. There are two inscribed labels on the reverse.
The modern box is in good condition with minor wear, including a few scratches.
