Condition

Overall the condition of the bust is good, with minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. A slip has been applied to the surface, which may conceal some condition points. There appears to be some restoration to the nose, and patches are visible at the proper right temple and to the proper right shoulder at the back. There are also possible areas of restoration to the integral base, and there is a line running from the top of the head to the proper right temple, which may indicate restoration. There are a few small lacunae, including to the forehead on the proper left side and to the proper left shoulder at the back. There are a few minor chips, including to the edge of the collar at the front and around the bottom edge.
