Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a loss to the upper section of the bow. There is some very minor veining, consistent with the material, including to the proper right shoulder and to the child's back. There are a few small naturally occurring inclusions to the marble, including to the abdomen, proper right lower arm and hand, and to the drapery below the bow. There are a few small chips, including to the drapery at the high points - notably to the edge of the fold falling from the quiver - and to the toes of the proper right foot. There is some minor white residue to the drapery between the legs. There are a few scratches, including to the proper right hand and to the back of the neck. There are a few minor dirt marks, including to the back of the proper left leg.
