Condition
Overall, the condition of the terracotta is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a slip to the surface which may conceal some condition points. An original stable joint is visible at the proper right shoulder and others are visible where the drapery joins the legs. There are a few minor chips around the joint at the shoulder. Further minor chips include one to the proper right cheek and two to the proper left elbow. There are a few very small lacunae consistent with the material, including to the neck, the abdomen and the proper left elbow. There are a few minor stable fissures consistent with firing, including to the drapery around the proper right thigh and another to the drapery between the legs at the front. There is a small white mark, possibly a chip, above the proper left knee.
