Both purchased in Bergamo, during Paul Oppé's North Italian tour of 14 September - 17 October 1908

Condition

A) Hinged to mount at upper margin. Scattered foxing throughout. Tip of upper left corner missing and lower right corner and a small tear near the upper right corner. Small loss at upper margin in the centre that has been made up Two larger brown stains, one located at the left margin in the centre and the other near the lower right corner. Red chalk remains strong and vibrant. B - with landscape on the verso: Hinged to mount at upper margin. Scattered foxing throughout. Water stain at the right margin. Upper right and lower left corners are torn, small tear at the upper left corner. Medium remains strong and vibrant - both red and black chalk
