  • Pen and brown ink and grey wash and white heightening, over traces of red chalk, within brown ink framing lines;
    bears old attribution and date to a tab of paper adhered to the sheet, lower centre: Moitte Sculpteur 1779

Condition

Hinge mounted. There are some old stains and abrasions to the four corners, most probably as a result of having previously been adhered to a separate sheet. There are some small losses of white heightening throughout and some very slight staining and areas of surface dirt. Otherwise in good condition, with the medium predominantly fresh throughout.
