Condition
Laid down on a Richardson mount. There is some very slight evidence of surface dirt, however the sheet is in otherwise very good condition, with the medium fresh and vibrant throughout.

Catalogue Note
Although it has not been possible to connect the present work to a known painting by the artist, Nicolas Schwed has dated this drawing to Fenzoni's Roman period, comparing it with another hand study in the collection of the Museo del Prado, Madrid.1
