Description

  • walnut, pine
  • 229cm. wide, 6ft. 10¼in.,
with an arched shaped padded back outward scrolled padded arms and serpentine seat on four cabriole legs, the frame carved with c-scrolls, foliage and rocaille, the top-rail with a scolled boss

Condition

In need of some attention. The back is wobbly and needs securing. There is an added piece to the top-rail which is only visible from the rear and there is a crack to the top-rail on the right side when facing which will need attention. The left side of the top-rail when facing has possibly been replaced. The sofa has been strengthened underneath. The legs have been reblocked. The rear outer legs are possibly later replacements.
