Description

  • marble / walnut
  • marble top 144cm x 115cm; 4ft. 8¾in., 3ft. 9¼in.
of rectangular form centred by a scrolled boss quarter-veneered in Sicilian jasper within a border of geometric cartouches incorporating rosso antico, chalcedony, verde antico, black Belgian marble, giallo di Sienna on a black slate ground, the underside with a later veined white marble panel of rectangular form with concave corners,  on a later walnut base with turned legs joined by stretchers and block feet

Condition

In overall very good conserved condition. Some minor restorations and replacements. Some very minor chips which are not too noticeable. Medium sized approx. 3cm long chip to bottom edge of the verde antico border. Some water staining to the top which can be repolished.
