Description

  • Rosewood, brass, steel, glass
  • 60cm. 23¾in. high
7-inch dial with matted centre, mock pendulum aperture and central alarm disc, a foliate mount below, the two train movement with verge escapement and silk suspension, trip repeat quarter striking on two bells, the case with bell top and flambeau finials above canted corners with mask mounts, on scroll feet

Condition

Dial rather dirty but otherwise good. Movement is loose in then case and lacking one quarter hammer but otherwise complete, it is very dirty, not running and needs complete service and overhaul. Case in generally good but rather dirty condition with old scuffs, cracks and marks throughout, damage and losses to mouldings above and right of door. With pendulum and a non-fitting winder.
