Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy. On one armchair the tip of the finial is missing but this can easily be restored. Old marks, chips and scratches. Evidence of old worm which appears to be no longer active. Some very minor losses to the carving which are hardly noticeable. One armchair of this pair has metal strengtheners on the side-rails. One chair is shorter than the rest in the set.
