Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is good, with dirt and some wear to the surface consistent with age. There is dirt to the surface throughout, and the marble would benefit from a professional clean. Dirt includes a few specks of white paint, several dark marks, and some sticker residue to the proper left side of the chest. There is some dirt and minor rubbing to the tip of the nose. There are a few small naturally occurring inclusions in the marble, including to the face and to the socle. There are a few chips, in particular to the truncation at the back.
