Condition

This very impressive piece is in overall good condition. The horn has a crack of about 8cm to the upper section; the bronze would benefit from cleaning, the marble base is in very good condition. A tip of the arrow in the arrower's bag is broken but is hardly noticeable. There are small holes which indicate that there might be a missing piece, maybe a string for the bow(?). The bow presently has an improvised bow metal string. Please note that the information in catalogue regarding this piece being a gift from the emperor is not correct.
