Catalogue Note

This model was a gift of the people from the city of Rheydt (North-Rhine-Westphalia) to Bismarck and was personally delivered by Emil Schött on May 18th 1895. It was made from the same material as the original monument in Rheydt and Bismarck apparently was very pleased with this gift.
