In overall good conserved condition. The surtout is in painted plaster. The gilding is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There are some minor chips and wear to the gilding but this is not too noticeable. There are some very minor losses to the twisted ribbon section with a 8cm section missing. There is some minor flaking and stains to the painted decoration with a couple of large brown coloured areas of discolouration to one section as visible from catalogue photograph.
