  • the cork model: 39.5cm. high, 48cm. wide (framed); 1ft. 3½in., 1ft. 7in., the embroidered picture: 33cm. high, 30cm. wide; 1ft. 1in., 1ft.
in an oval gilt-brass repousse frame bearing a cork maker's label 'J.F.Borgfelft / Mittelstr. 47'; together with an oval giltwood framed embroidered oval picture with a flower basket worked by Fraulein von Mollendorf and given to Fraulein von Bismarck, daughter of the Chancellor, the reverse with a typed note, dated Berlin Charlottenburg, 16 Mai 1941, bearing an additional handwritten 'Bismarck' label and one other with number '158'

Condition

The oval giltwood framed embroidered oval picture with a flower basket, in fair condition overall. Discoloured satin and some pulls and tucks, also gaps visible on inside edges. Charming. Typed note image available on request. The cork pciture in overall good condition with minor losses to cork and slight discolouration to ground.
