Description

  • porcelain
  • 9cm, 7,5cm diameter
decorated with flowers and foliage, containing a liner pierced with four square holes and decorated with two floral sprays, the base inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark; together with a pair of circular boxes, 17th century decorated with phoenixes and foliage, each containing a liner, the base inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Jiajing mark

Condition

The larger box with a few burst bubbles to the interior, and a chip to the edge of the edge of the liner. The glaze on the box is quite degraded with traces of white encrustation. One of the smaller boxes have a chip to the edge of the box, the other small box with frits to the edge of the liner.
