Description

- circa 20cm height
each body decorated with alternating panels of flowers and precious objects, beneath two medallions enclosing fruit on a diaper ground on the shoulder and tall pointed leaves encircling the neck
Provenance
The Hatcher Collection, Christie's Amsterdam, 12th-13th June 1984.
Condition
Two of the kendis with minor shallow chips to the underside rim of the disc at the spout. There is general glaze crazing and fritting. The glaze of each shows erosion as characteristic of shipwreck ceramics.
