  • 7cm height, 14cm diameter
each decorated on the exterior with eight pierced medallions against a ground of latticework above a band of ruyi scrolls and below a band of waves around the rim

Provenance

The Hatcher Collection; Christie's Amsterdam, 12th-13th June 1984.

Condition

All bowls have faint grooves around the rim and foot where mounts may have been later added and removed, along with minor firing impurities and scratches and wear tot he surface. One bowl has a 3mm firing crack to the rim. 12mm chip to the foot, and interior flakes to the latticework with associated hairline cracks running through the patterns, one extending 5mm above. One bowl has a hairline crack from the rim into the lattice work. One bowls has a 3mm flake to the rim. All bowls have glaze degradation due to extended seawater exposure.
