Description

each bowl of deep rounded form rising to a barbed everted rim, decorated on the exterior with alternating panels of birds and flowers, the interior with a central medallion depicting a bird perched on rockwork, surrounded by panels enclosing detached floral blooms
Provenance
The Hatcher Collection; Christie's Amsterdam, 12th-13th June 1984.
Condition
The bowls are in good condition with the exception of glaze degradation due to sea water erosion, and one with a firing glaze bubble enclosing three short circa 1cm., firing lines to the interior, and minor glaze firing imperfections to all.
