baluster porcelain body with swirling flutes, painted with flowers and leaves in blue, the lid chased and embossed with a memento mori of a memento mori of a contemplative putto, reclining against a vacant cartouche, his arm on a skull, 1807 Dutch control mark

Condition
clear marks, some wear to gilding possible repair at join of strap and handle mount, crisp engraving, the porcelain with pin hole firing defaults, small chip to rim, lacking silver-gilt mounts at footrim and neck rim, cover doesn't completely straight on body, nicely modelled silver cover embossed in very high relief.
