the handle engraved ‘je coule toujours’ above a drawing of a wine barrel, together with another example, maker's mark 'SB' below a wheat-sheaf and fleur-de-lys, possibly Lille, 1763-65, similar plain form
Condition
Marks to first are somewhat rubbed but all visible, the second, marks clearly struck. wear and scratches in accordance with age. both with engraved names.
