  • each: 96cm. high, 46cm. wide; 3ft. 11¾in., 1ft. 6in.
each with a foliate carved cresting above a cartouche shaped engraved plate, the apron with a stylised flowerhead issuing three scrolled giltwood candlearms, with painted serrated metal and cut-glass drip-pans; formerly fitted for electricity; with modern cream shades; variation in the glass drip pans

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Old very minor marks and chips to gilding especially around the nozzles where there is quite gilding losses which can easily be touched up. There is a chip to the candle-nozzle on one candle arm on another girandole some of the nozzles have been detached in the past and reglued but would benefit from some minor attention and the same one has suffered from old woodworm resulting in some losses old glue repair to top of one arm and base of middle arm on same one. On another girandole one of the nozzles needs securing to the arm.
