Description

  • Old Sheffield Plate
  • 60.4cm., 23 3/4 in. high
plain tapering form with slanting gadroons borders and bands, the detachable branches with swirling reeded arms embellished with foliate interludes, loaded

Condition

One of the candlesticks is bruised to the base and with signs of messy solder to gadrooned band on base. The copper is showing through to both in places, especially the high points. Otherwise, generally good condition in accordance with age and use.
