Description

  • Silver
  • 16.5cm., 6 1/2 in. high
cylindrical with fluted sides and beaded rims, the lightly double domed cover with acanthus embellished ovoid finial surmounted on a leafy calyx, the flaring base with openwork foliate chain-link border, on three claw and ball feet

Condition

Heavy damage to approximately 8cm of the openwork border to the base. The marks clear to the underside. The cover with a couple of small dents. The finial with later brass screw. Traces of solder to underside of foot.
