Description
- Pottery
painted in Imari style with a central cartouche of flowering plants flanked by zig-zag borders and further flowers, comprising ten plates in four sizes, D-APW over numerals marks for De Paauw (The Peacock) factory, 22.5cm., 8 7/8 in. to 34.3cm., 13 1/2 in. diam., and two large dishes with a variation of the pattern, blue star marks for De Witte Ster (The White Star) factory, 34.3cm., 13 1/2 in. diam.
Condition
one De Paauw factory and one De Witte Ster dish with larger than usual chips, otherwise typical glaze loss and rim chips only.
