all crisply moulded on small turned feet, painted with a medallion of a winged putti or angel, two holding a crucifix, the other holding a staff, within grotesque borders,

Condition

the smallest example, fragmented and repaired. one of the larger examples with short hairline crack to rim. All with typical rim chips.

Further examples of this type were sold at Sotheby's London, 29th April 2014, lots 83 and 82, which included a Deruta tazza of a similar design which was likely to be the source for the variations produced in Haarlem.
