both polychrome painted with medallions with the coat-of-arms of Hans Kaspar von Schönburg (1594-1644) and his wife Sophia Maria Reuss von Plauen (1614-1690) and dated 1669, overall set with pewtered iron mounts, the hinged lid elaborately studded, damages and wear to the leather and painting

Condition

In country house condition. The leather is badly worn and has losses and some repairs/patches. The interior of both is lined with Venetian marbled paper, with losses. One trunk with a later two handled tray.
