  • Two-handed sword
  • steel, brass inlay, with a leather grip
  • Possibly German, 15th century and later
the possibly 15th-century double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, stamped with a wheel on one side, latten inlay, the later quillions with flared ends, later leather grip and faceted pear-shaped pommel

Condition

Some losses to the latten inlay of the double running wolf mark on both sides of the blade. The later leather grip worn. Tarnishing and some oxidisation consistent with material.
