Description

  • pine / poplar / marble
  • each 88cm. high, 88cm. wide, 43cm. deep; 2ft. 10¾in., 2ft. 10¾in.,1ft. 5in.
each with a rectangular veneered marble top above a frieze centred by the mask of Mercury flanked by stylised foliage and a flowerhead on fluted turned tapering legs on toupie feet

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. On one table the rear legs are leaning slightly inwards. Old very marks, chips and surface dirt to the painted decoration. One top has a section of veneer at the front missing approx. 19cm long and another one by 4cm long. The other top is missing a section towards to rear right edge approx. 9cm long which can easily be restored.There is a very small section of carving missing from the tip of a leaf on the left side of the frieze of one.
