Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few dirt marks, including to the forehead. There is some staining to the surface, in particular to the edges of the integral bronze socle. There is a chip to the bronze socle at the front left corner, which was probably on the model that was used for the bronze cast. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including to the socle. There are remnants of an old label to the underside of the bronze.
There is wear to the paintwork on the wood base, in particular at the top and to the edges and corners. There are a few nicks and abrasions. The underside is lined with felt.
