comprising of a set of three applique armorial panels of terracotta coloured wool centred with applique of crowned entwined ‘S’ cypher (approximately 278cm high by 104cm wide) (one illustrated opposite page), another armorial panel of similar format on bright red wool, centred with crowned Sacchetti coat of arms, and a group of panels and a canopy for a 'baldacchino'; including a applique panel with Sacchetti arms on panel of terracotta coloured wool (approximately 272 by 187cm), and four altar hangings forming the upper canopy and lower surrounds respectively (see illustration on page 15)

Condition

Comprising of a set of three applique armorial panels of terracotta coloured wool centred with applique of crowned entwined ‘S’ cypher (approximately 278cm high by 104cm wide); backed with red cotton, minor fading and loose fringing in top left corner of one, together with another armorial panel of similar format (for the baldacchino), centred with crowned Sacchetti coat of arms (approximately 272 by 187cm), and panels for the baldacchino forming the canopy (47cm high, 192cm wide, 72cm deep; on wooden support), and two rectangular panels with decoration on two sides, each 205cm long by 93cm wide, with discolouration, staples, stains, loose threads, and one with decoration on sides very distressed, and another long `T’ shaped panel 16cm high by 404cm wide (with section attached to centre of plain velvet 99cm high by 200cm wide), very dirty, with splits, loose threads. Fringing attached; together with another armorial panel of similar format on bright red wool, centred with crowned Sacchetti coat of arms )337cm high by 250cm wide, lined, in good overall condition.
