Description
- A view of the Porto di Ripetta, Rome; A view of the Ospizio di San Michele a Ripa Grande, Rome
- a pair, both oil on canvas, unframed

Provenance
From the London residence of the Marchessa Giovanna Sacchetti.
Condition
Both the canvases have been relined, the paint surfaces are fairly clean and the varnish appears clear and even. The paintings are both in fair condition.
The former: There are small retouchings along all four margins and in the corners, notably in the lower left and right corners, and in the water in the foreground. There are four, slightly larger, areas of retouching in the sky, upper centre and upper left, each measuring approx. 1 by 3 cm.
The latter: There is retouching in all four corners and scattered along all margins. Otherwise there are small, scattered spot retouchings in the sky but little other intervention, save for a line of restoration to an old vertical tear or surface scratch, measuring approx. 7 cm., running through the boats, centre left.
